Been playing DoomRLA on randomized maps. Found The Bee early on, equippable shield, deal double damage, take double damage. Very fun to play with but you better be ready to save scum to hell and back, cause one hit kills are very common. Doesn't help that I generated maps "Infested" with monsters (The second highest setting, highest is "Insane" and it means it.)

I do recommend trying it once. DoomRLA is one of the most replayable doom mods, and work with almost any map ever.

It definitely depends on the game. I hate Destiny for that exact reason, actually. You're gonna make me play that DOOM Roguelite, too!

Ah, for me, games have always been an escape from people, so having real people in my games is conflicting. That said, nothing wrong, just joking around.

DoomRLA is a ZDoom gameplay mod for Doom and derivatives (Doom II, Final Doom, FreeDoom) and it basically randomizes weapons and armors from a large pool, adds classes which excel with certain ways of playing, has modpacks to further enhance ANY of the weapons, as well as assemble new weapons if you know the recipe.

I honestly find it one of the best gameplay mods ever, and playing with randomized maps via SLIGE/Oblige/Obsidian/Obhack makes for a fully fresh experience every time you start it up.

There's a few addons for DoomRLA but I recommend you go and try the base first, cause there is a lot to take in, believe me. I'm still learning stuff from the mod! Thanks for the interest, I hope you have a blast! *hugs*

I play mostly EU4 and EU3 but they're games that need to be learned, and loved even when destroying you. Nothing beats a map with your realm's name in big letters, though, hahahaha.

how is EU3? I have it, but have never played it. Does it hold up compared to EU4, like how the old HOI games hold up well compared to HOI4

EU3 is clunkier, and also simpler. It's a different experience. There are less nation to choose from, and some places, like America, are less fleshed out. It's been a while since a played so I don't really remember specific mechanics, but it's worth a try, since the complete edition is dirt cheap and you can always yohoho it if you know where to look (FMHY)

I actually downloaded EU1 but didn't get to play it yet. I expect clunkiness of legendary proportions ahhahaah.

Recently playing Streets of Rage X. Basically they take the 3 first SOR games and makes everything about them even better. There are juggle combos, cancels, a TON of options, and you can play as any character (And by that I mean ANY ENEMY AND BOSS as well, even the lowly mooks), have 4P multiplayer, and of course there's the banger soundtrack of SOR. You can mix and match mechanics from all the SOR games to make it your own, it's really accessible and customizable.

You may be thinking about another SOR fangame, SOR Remake. I've played both, and both are good. X is more innovative and flexible, while Remake is less expansive but more polished.

I really recommend people play any of the two. Great games, great times, wish I had friends to go multiplayer, but singleplayer is just as good!

Did realize that there was new Streets of Rage game. Thanks for informing us. I constantly replayed the first game with my brother back in the 90's. I will take a look into it later, because I just started playing Metaphor so I will be busy for a while

There is Streets of Rage 4 also, which is incredible, but the fangames are there too and they are free. It's up to taste, really.

I've been a daily player of Rocket League for almost 10 years now, and I still suck at it. But damn is it fun. Unfortunately this Rocket League addiction has lead me to cut out, if not completely eliminate, single player experiences. My backlog is HUGE, dating back years. I want to change that. So recently I started and completed the Witcher 2, and am now 77 hours into the Witcher 3. The percentage counter says I'm only 19 percent complete, so it seems like the Witcher 3 is going to be a 400 hour game. Which is absolute insanity, but I'm not complaining. I'm savoring every moment of it. Won't allow myself to fast travel, I'll walk or ride Roach everywhere I go, read every piece of text I can find, uncover every side mission. It's brilliant.

Last game I played was Brotato, which is basically "What if Vampire Survivors was wave based...and about a mutant potato VS aliens?". It's super addicting, very accessible, difficulty wise, and runs on any potato. (no pun intended)

Also am playing Doom RogueLike Arsenal mod for ZDoom + Obhack maps (Basically Doom + Lots of weapons + Random maps), OpenTTD (Never thought I would have fun running a transport company.), trying random football (Not handegg) games on c64 (Hint: Most of them suuUuUuuck) and Tekken Tag Tournament. ("EVERYONE IS HERE", Tekken style)

OpenTTD is one of my childhood favourites!

I like brotato a little, very accessible yeah.

A couple of weeks ago I played Signalis in one day. A game about sad lesbians for sad lesbians, well and truly. Amazing game.



I've also been playing a lot of Cogmind. It's a brutally challenging roguelike about a little robot trapped deep underground and their only goal is to escape, fighting off an AI mastermind overlord that tries to kill you at every turn. Great story and great strategy game, I'd consider it my favourite game of all time.

Last week I tried blue prince. I beat the main game but found it pretty underwhelming, there were some logic puzzles but far more ARG style/language/culture puzzles which I wasn't a fan of. Also way too much gambling/grinding in a style I didn't enjoy.

To get ready for Deltarune Chapters 3 and 4 coming out soon I recently finished Chapters 1 and 2 again but on the Switch. I heard the Save data will transfer to Switch 2 so I'm gearing up to do that on launch day. This time around I actually managed to beat the secret bosses and collect the eggs. I hadn't done that before. I'm just doing a Pacifist run like I did in my Steam account.

Jevil was stupidly hard and took me hella tries but somehow I beat it. Spamton NEO wasn't nearly as hard though I beat it in one try.

Ooooh, Taiko no Tatsujin is really fun. I got to try it first with the recent english releases. I don't have the hardware so I do with keypresses, but it's a rhythm game and very fun!

Maybe I should install Etterna Project and some DDR Songs to get back at destroying my keyboard for points, ahahahaha!

It's really fun on PS4 with the drum :), if you like BL, Dramatical murder is good, granny is good for a horror game, and for a relaxing game, stardew valley or animal crossing.

I don't have the plastic stuff cause I have a bad case of no money. I've played Stardew Vallew and Animal Crossing before, but I prefer something more exciting. Thanks for the suggestions!
