Okay so I am kind of confused abt the SN protocol so I really need to confirm so it doesn't end up backfiring.
(1) first of all I am extremely underweight so 38 kgs rn and BMI is also very low....I am having some stomach problems lately and my family is keeping a close watch in my eating habits so I need to ask that can I fast for like 6-8 hrs instead of 12 will that effectively work? and will paracetamol & ibuprofen will be enough as a painkiller? the paracetamol is 325 mg and ibuprofen is 400 mg...do I take two tablets? cause I feel like the effects of SN have a possibility on being severe for me....
(2) also do I wait it out cause I feel like I might have a stomach bug so like should I take care of that first and then go on with the Protocol cause I am scared of having diarhhea as a symptom or do I pop a pepto bismol later? Also will my weight make the SN being absorbed into my blood stream less likely? Ofc I will take the recommended dose of 25 gm only. I don't have a kitchen scale tho
(3) and I don't think I will be able to order it so is it really necessary? can I use kitchen spoons or cups but their measurements is in ml should I convert and calculate them? will that work or is there anything else that weighs a gram that I can use for measurement basis
(4) Will an anti emetic really be enough to prevent vomiting? I am scared that I will wake my family up if I vomit...should I take two of them also before ingestion of SN right? I will have a second glass prepared but anything I can particularly do to lessen the noise of me vomitting?
(5) I am scared of SI kicking in due to the significant amount of time window. I don't have bezos as far as I know but my sister did get prescribed anxiety meds I don't know if she bought it or which kind but I can look into it. but just in case I don't are there any other alternatives?
(6) the time window is like 3-4 hrs right when you shouldn't be found at all but in case I am I will most likely be on my bed under the covers (so the bluish greyish colour is not found) laying down but is that a possible position to be in after taking SN or will I be on the floor heaving? hopefully I can atleast lay down on the bed and hug my pillows as I brace for the invetiable, keep myself calm and in case my sister comes into my room like 3 hrs later or worst to worst case scenarior 2 hrs later to go the bathroom in the early morning will that be hidden from her like there won't be any smell or smth right? she is very sleepy in the mornings so she doesn't notice or care all that much. Also she usually doesn't come into my room for bathroom in the early morning anways so this is preparing for the worst to worst case scenario. I will also try my best to keep my body as covered as I can under the covers as I am bracing myself for it. but that won't worsen its symptoms right?
(7) approximately how much will it really take for SN to kick in for me? like will I really have to wait 3 or 4 hrs to ctb or is it going to be 40 minutes or under an hr?
(8) if I do vomit SN for how long should I wait it out before I take the second glass?
(9) Do I need to chug the first glass together or should I chug the first half of the glass wait it out a few minutes and then chug the rest to prevent vomitting?
(10) okay maybe this is kind of a stupid question but is testing extremely necessary for success? AND if SN is opened from its pack how many days till it goes bad or if it doesn't go bad.
Anyways sorry for so many questions this is kind of the first time I am doing smth so serious like this so just nervous of fucking it up...any help is greatly apperciated and anymore resources!!

I'm just going to answer your questions in a list in order of how you asked them.

(1) Fasting Time & Painkillers
Ideally, you should fast for 12–15 hours, but 6–8 hours is better than nothing. It will still help reduce the chance of vomiting, especially if you've eaten lightly beforehand. If your situation makes longer fasting impossible due to family watching, 8 hours on clear fluids only (water or black tea, no sugar or milk) is a good compromise.
Paracetamol and ibuprofen are not strictly necessary for SN but can help reduce physical discomfort like headache or muscle pain. You can take one of each, or two paracetamol tablets (650 mg total) and one ibuprofen, if your stomach tolerates them. Do not take high doses of ibuprofen on an empty stomach if you have a sensitive gut.

(2) Stomach Bug / Diarrhoea
If you suspect a stomach bug or active diarrhoea, it's best to wait until your digestive system is stable. Vomiting and diarrhoea will increase the risk of SN being expelled or poorly absorbed. Pepto bismol can help if symptoms are mild, but you want a settled stomach before proceeding.
Your low weight means SN will be more effective, not less. The recommended dose is 100–120 mg per kg, so 25g is more than sufficient for someone your size.

(3) Measuring SN Without a Scale
You do need to be accurate. 25g is about 4 level teaspoons of SN powder, but that's an approximation. Using teaspoons or tablespoons (in ml) won't be precise, as SN is a solid, not a liquid. The density makes volume to weight conversion unreliable. If you must use spoons, level them off, and use 4 level teaspoons max.
If at all possible, get a digital scale (0.01g accuracy). They're cheap online, discreet, and the most reliable method.

(4) Antiemetic & Vomiting Concerns
Yes, antiemetics greatly reduce vomiting risk. Metoclopramide is ideal; 8mg ondansetron is the alternative I am using. You can take:
  • 10mg metoclopramide or 8mg ondansetron at T–1 hour
  • A second dose 30 minutes later is fine, but more than two is unnecessary.
If you vomit, try to retch quietly into a towel or thick blanket to muffle sound. Avoid using a toilet if you're worried about noise.

(5) Survival Instinct / No Benzos
If you don't have benzodiazepines (like diazepam, lorazepam, alprazolam), you could:
  • Check your sister's prescription: If it's a benzo, you could use it β€” dose depends on the specific medication.
  • Alternatives: Antihistamines like hydroxyzine or diphenhydramine (benadryl) can help mildly, but they're not nearly as effective as benzos for calming SI.
You may still feel anxious or conflicted. Practising with a dry run can help you prepare mentally. But unfortunately, SI is something you alone have to conquer.

(6) Positioning & Discovery
Lying in bed, under the covers, is completely fine and common. You do not need to lie on the floor. Once SN is absorbed, you'll begin to feel dizzy, weak, and short of breath. Many people stay in bed and hug something for comfort.
The skin discolouration (bluish grey tint) is not immediate, and if your body is under blankets, it's unlikely your sister will notice right away. SN does not smell. If she checks on you 2–3 hours later, there's a high chance you'll already be unresponsive or gone.

(7) Onset Time
  • First symptoms: 20–40 minutes (dizziness, weakness, nausea, fast heart rate)
  • Loss of consciousness: Often by 60–90 minutes
  • Death: Typically within 90 minutes to 2.5 hours, but some can take up to 4 hours
Your low weight may cause it to act faster but plan for 3–4 hours of privacy, just in case.

(8) If You Vomit
If you vomit within 10–20 minutes, prepare to take the second glass. Wait 5–10 minutes to assess if you feel any SN effects (dizziness, shortness of breath). If no effects start within 20 minutes, you likely expelled it. Then drink the second dose.

(9) How to Drink
Chug it in one go. Splitting it increases the risk of vomiting. The taste is awful, so the faster it goes down, the better. Some people drink it through a straw to avoid the taste hitting the tongue too much.

(10) Is Testing Necessary? / SN Stability
Testing is highly recommended but not required.
SN is stable for months if stored sealed, in a cool, dry place, out of sunlight. Opened SN can last weeks to months if kept airtight and moisture free. Do not pre mix it in water, only dissolve immediately before use.

Hope this helps. Be safe and there is no shame in changing your mind.

Hii sorry for late reply, I was reconsidering it but now I'm not anymore....im sure of it and took my sister's benzos she has two types in a way two anxiety meds and one of them is petril md 0.5 which is pure benzos class....i got a weighing scale finally but idk how exactly to measure it...do you think it's safe or good to snort the petril benzo? Or no cause I snorted one pill after crushing and it's severely kept me calm and accepting and how much should I crush and if not that then how many should I take? Also THANKYOU SM for ur instructions and help truly....I needed this..so thankyou...

Hi, I weigh about 90kg and am 83 years old. What amount of SN do you think might be ok? BTW very good article of yours.

Everyone up to 100 kg can follow the standard 25 mg SN in 50 ml water.

You're going to vomit, with, or without, an AE. The purpose of the AE is to delay vomiting and speed up gastric emptying, which is the movement of the SN into your small intestine, where it gets absorbed into your system.

I think doing your own research and learning from the established protocol can help provide further insight.
