Purchased 100 ft of 3/4 inch rope rated at 700 pounds, nice running bowline knot to a tree and slip knot around persons neck, drive away as fast as I can. Think it's instant? Also I was turn that 100ft rope into 200ft by being behind the tree the rope is tied around.

There was a case in the news a while ago about a guy that did this. He buckled up and put the car in drive and let it idle forward. Everything got tight, he died. I think he ran the rope out a rear window so he could not reach the gear shift. Horizontal hanging.

I read somewhere that a guy did this and he slammed on the accelerator and took his head completely off. So if that's the route you're going for, I'd say it's instant if it all goes according to plan.

You might want more than 100' of rope though to be safe.

Check tensile strength before purchasing. Length plays into this.
You need a very strong rope that will not snap.

Definitely violent, but should be instant. Sitting by my favorite lake rn. Got all the rope set up, get a little drunk and go for it lol

I think I should be good with rope length, I can make that 200ft anyways. There are some case studies, several straight decaps, few the rope snapped but still died. My rope is good for 700 lbs. the ones whose rope snapped had kinda thin rope.

Rope is guaranteed, 700 lbs rating. Just hope it's quick

I do not like this method at all. Seems extremely risky, too gruesome. 😔 😢

There are several case reports of people going out this way, and by the research I've done. Seems pretty instant. Regardless if it takes my head off, it's gonna have to break my neck first.

There's a quite a few reported cases of this, It seems outright decapitation is a common outcome. Pretty metal way to go, but it's not hard to see how it could go catastrophically wrong. Vehicle related suicides tend to endanger other people, so I think they should be disincentived.

I have chosen a perfect spot, I live in Wisconsin, but got a cabin up in the UP of Michigan. closest small town to my cabin is 45 minutes to Iron Mountain. Was just gonna use my 9mm but deputies have my weapon at their department. Since I was thinking of shooting myself a year ago. My favorite lake is up there as well, get drunk and just envision myself driving off into the sunset one last time.
