i just feel so pathetic my autism makes me unable to connect with anyone in person

I haven't had a girlfriend and im 18m. Ive been able to fill my time with other stuff like videogames or journaling and I just keep hoping that someone will come one day. its hard to connect to people especially nowadays but the odds are never 0.

I had my first true girlfriend when I was 22. I think a lot of people have their first romantic experiences late, especially nowadays. I hope springtime comes for you soon. Also don't worry too much about the autism; we were both neurodivergent in that relationship. The right person will come.

It's not valentine's day I'm my country yet, but, when it comes, I'm just gonna treat it like any normal day, I already do this for my birthday, so it doesn't bother me like it used to.

I miss my ex a little but I just try to not think about it. Alcohol helps. It's whatever.
It's worth noting that autism doesn't make you unable to connect with others per se, it just makes it harder

the person I love told me today that they don't feel well today and they are basically distancing themselves from me or at least that's what it feels like

idk, maybe I'm just overthinking it but I feel like I was "replaced" even though that's not really the case

I think this boils down to the difference in affection that I show to them and the affection they show to me

I have no idea how to cope with that and I'm currently trying to decide between sh or doing drugs, both of which are habits that I got rid of a while ago
