• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Do you guys think that there are tons of them? Reported as accidents, overdoses, or just "died suddenly". I certainly do.

Yes, I think so, maybe because suicide is so stigmatised, the deaths are dismissed as having some other cause.

It's not uncommon for suicides to go under reported. There are many methods that are difficult to classify as suicide such as vehicular accident.

Sure. Every time that I hear that a train has been delayed or cancelled due to "an accident", I immediately conclude that someone jumped in front of one, and that they will need to clean the scene up before any other trains may pass.

Error systematically about 10% in developed countries and 30% in underdeveloped countries.
So, by WHO's estimation 800k annualy, probably 1 million death by suicide per year does make sense.
