I'm ugly and tall so I only know half of the struggle. It's still been impossible for me to get into a relationship let alone have kids.

I don't agree. I think life can be good, wonderful even. It's just that for many people it won't be. I'm 5'11, half black, ugly as all shit, and because of that I know no woman can love me. However, if I was white, 6'2, attractive, I would be able to have a good life almost certainly and I wouldn't be depressed or miserable

Ugly people can have good-looking kids and good-looking parents can have ugly kids as well, genetics are weird, it's hard to know. Most people aren't ugly, they just not their best version of themselves in terms of looks. Like they are unhealthy, overweight, bad posture, bad skin, don't take care of their appearance. I rarely see a person that I think is just ugly naturally. Some are definitely but maybe just few percent. Looks can be improved through being fit, mewing, face yoga, having clean diet, you know, it's not set in stone that someone is ugly. There are also height stuff a person can do, proper posture can make someone taller.

for men, yes. personality is what is most important, but the common experience among short men is that women tend to overlook them or actively discriminate against them.

even as a (short) gay guy, i wouldn't date a short man because i just don't find being at the same height as my partner to be attractive. it's a real thing short guys (especially straight men) face.

I feel you man, I'm an ugly and short guy as well. People have reacted to me weirdly and treated me like shit all my life, simply because of my looks. How I fucking wish my parents never reproduced with their shit genes.

I'm short and not especially attractive (objectively a solid 4/10 on a good day, maybe a 5/10 in the best possible lighting), and my daughter is GORGEOUS and, so far, average height for her age (my husband is also on the shorter side, but he's handsome and has tall family members).

Of the reasons I'm suicidal, my height and appearance aren't among them, although I know the height thing is more stigmatized if you're AMAB and/or male-identifying.

I'm sorry you're getting picked on. That's not cool of them at all.

I hope you can come to see your beauty even if assholes are being assholes (because assholes will always find SOMETHING to pick on you about).

except love comes ONLY biologically (as selfish organisms, weve been wired to do this for thousands of years to reproduce optimally), what ur speaking about is two unwanted people settling for eachother in a half-assed and forced way (desperation) because thats all they can ever aspire to live out. Either party would consider abandoning the other in a heartbeat for a more appealing mate.
