• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

A woman who attempted to jump to her death from the rooftop of her apartment building was saved by the branches of an adjoining tree.

I'd say that she is lucky the branches of the tree broke her fall and she suffered only minor injuries in the process. Considering the fact that the building she jumped off from was not tall enough (only 5 storeys), she could have ended up in a much, much worse state (without CTB) if she had landed on hard ground.

I agree, while humans can technically due from any height given that it breaks the right parts, five stories is highly unlikely.

I do kind of feel bad that her attempt is in the news though, I would hate to have my attempts in the news, especially if it failed.

The amount of judgments that people make from reading failed attempts makes me mad sometimes. I also wouldn't want people I know to find out by the news, they might start to treat me differently or worse.

I am glad she doesn't have major injuries. I wouldn't say lucky because she is still suffering.

The decision to ctb doesn't seem planned to me. I hope she can resolve issues regarding her son
