I couldn't because of the driver, how awful he must feel.
I think the SI would be too much for me.

Also there was a man near here recently jumped off a motorway bridge and hit a truck at just that second. The damage to the truck was massive, that poor driver has to live with that vision. I think my SI would stop me jumping.

I suppose they only reported this because of his ex (who is livid if anyone tries calling her Dandelion). Hope he found what he needed.

I tried once went to a quiet rail/road crossing but there was the old small train ticket office/platform converted into a home and occupied. Thought I might get spotted by occupants hanging around waiting for a train and reported if they saw me walking up tracks

For those who want to make a splash

Right now this is the most accessible method to me. But my going out would still rise suspicion in this house. If I'd do it, I'd try at night, at a point of the railway with as little light as possible (plenty of these here), and I'd try lying down as close as possible to the train (though I am pretty sure my SI would kick in strong). I'd also try wearing dark clothes, to further hide myself. Around two weeks ago a man died like this, nobody knows whether suicide or accident (he was lying on the railway, but he's a know alcoholic, so he might have passed out); the news say the conductor saw him from 50 meters and tried to stop the train, but was unable to, hence my wishes to lie down as late as possible. Also, I can't find a way to track the passing of trains in this town, they seem to come at random intervals.

Same. Doing so at night, closing eyes and listening to loud music on headphones might help reduce this somewhat. Still it will sear the memory into the drivers mind and likely give him lifelong ptsd. Dying alone will always be my preference.

Using hard drugs is a must to fk over SI.
