Hey Dune,
I'm really sorry you're going through this. I may be a stranger on the internet, but I still care. And I just want to say this honestly, from the heart:

If you're thinking of ending it all, please pause. Life may feel unbearable now, but this moment isn't the end of your story. There's something much deeper beyond this life. What comes after death isn't just nothing — your soul continues.

If you leave this world without turning to God, the soul drifts in separation, lost in a state of regret, longing for light but far from it. That "nothingness" becomes a cold awareness of what could have been — not a peaceful end.

But if you repent, if you truly seek God before that moment — even now — something changes. Your soul reconnects. You find mercy, peace, and you return to the Source, to God, to the oneness we all come from. You're not alone anymore, not even in death.

Please think about this. Not in fear, but in hope. It's never too late to choose life — both now and after this life.

You matter. You're not forgotten. Choose to stay, choose to heal, and choose to live.

I hope I save a stranger on the internet.

And if you've read this and still choose to leave… then I say this with all the sincerity in my heart:

Wherever your soul goes, you will remember. Maybe you'll see me — the stranger who wrote this. Maybe you'll understand more than words can hold. But once you cross over, you won't be able to come back. You might watch, you might feel, but the human world won't be yours to touch again.

But if, in your final moments, you still believe in God — I ask you for one thing:
Please ask God to guide me too. I've been fighting my own battles — depression, burnout, the silent struggles no one sees. I don't want to fall into the same darkness. If you reach the light, if you're near God… please whisper my name to Him. Ask for peace for the stranger who cared.

We're not as far apart as it seems. Souls know each other beyond time.

Hey,

I understand where you're coming from — and I'm not here to push a religious agenda.

But just to share a thought: science and spirituality aren't enemies. Energy doesn't disappear — it transforms. That's physics. The human brain, when dying, releases waves we still don't fully understand. Consciousness might not just "switch off" like we assume.

So when I talk about the soul or God, it's not just "pro-life religious talk." It's also about asking: what if there's more than we can measure? What if both science and spirit are trying to explain the same truth in different languages?

Whether or not you believe, I respect that. But don't dismiss the possibility that there's something bigger — something that still holds meaning, even when everything feels lost.
I do believe there is more but I wouldnt push that on someone else. Its their souls decision if its time to go and they are done learning here. For some people life is to painful

What brings you to this forum?
True — the soul knows when it's tired. But sometimes, it's not done… just unheard. And a single voice, a small light, can remind it why it chose to come here at all.

He might believe too, deep down — but the darkness is louder right now, trying to pull him before his light fully rises. Not every soul that leaves escapes pain. Some fall into a deeper shadow, heavier than here. He may not know that yet… I'm not pushing. Just hoping he remembers.

Utterly inappropriate to tell this person what to do and to put forth your beliefs as fact.

In this forum, you are absolutely welcome to discuss what YOU believe. You are not welcome to hijack someone else's post about their own struggle and use it as your personal bully pulpit.

The respectful way to voice what you wrote above is to make your own thread and invite discussion if you want.

Alternatively, if you want to help a stranger on the internet, there are many suicide text lines that need volunteers, including faith based ones. Consider channelling your efforts in a direction where they may be more effective.
I am hoping I will muster the courage to end it on Monday or Wednesday , I can't handle this more
We are here for you if you want to post further. I'm so sorry it hurts this much and I totally get it. There are plenty of us (most?) who will support you if you want to try to express your thoughts and feelings, without judgement, and without telling you there is a right and a wrong choice. Sending you support and love over the web to you.

I don't understand why we should use psychological terrorism against a person who is already sick. I find this attitude really out of place. Regardless of whether or not you believe in a higher entity. I don't believe that there are higher entities that really want all this pain, or rather I don't believe that there are higher entities that want to see the creatures it created suffer in this way as the author of the post is probably suffering.

As for the "pause and think" part, that's a perfectly OK suggestion, but everything that follows is just dogmatic idioms and hypothetical assumptions. To whom is it important and why? The true importance of an individual exceeds the importance of earthly existence, the importance remains regardless of everything. Why should he choose to stay, everyone has the right to determine his own path in accordance with his feelings and convictions, all the consequences that he will eventually bear will be borne by him alone and that is what gives him the inviolable right to freedom of choice. You mention hope?!? All hopes are false, hope comes from the falsity of being, from the selfish projection of expectations of the dirty ego. In true knowledge there is no place for hopes, the one who has realized does not hope for anything anymore - he knows. And the one who knows is calm and peaceful

I think that it is mine as well. I will reserve a hotel for Sunday night. Take my tank if nitrogen and my exit bag and will do it there. I do not want to do it at home because it will bring the value of the home down and I hope that my children can enjoy some that money.
