• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    👉 View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Now, 2 months since she departed. It hasn't gotten any easier like people say it will and my thoughts of being with her have increased exponentially. I Originally out of impulse and without much research purchased what I thought was the right "ticket" to CTB to meet her only to later find out my bus wouldn't reach her destination. Now, before time drifts further apart I'm planning my second "ticket" purchase and hopefully now being a bit more informed I'll be able to finally see her again.

Time heals nothing unless you got something better than that you lost. If you still lack the replacement then the wound will always be there

The wound doesn't get better, you just deal with it better.

I would say the wound does heal but there may always be a massive scar. It really is going to take more than 2 months though ... It took me about a year and a half.

How do you still have the strength to be here?

Well, my parents are still alive so I can't delete myself yet. I've always been somewhat of a loner and enjoy peace and quiet so it wasn't impossible for me to get back into that state of mind. And I am lucky enough to have a few good friends. Humans (and especially animals) are quite resilient and can adapt to changes but it does take time.

May I message you?

Sure!
Oh, and having a couple of pets helps as well.

Yes, we can never forget anything either, so you are right that time doesn't always heal. Memories can be powerful. Living can be painful.

I feel like the memories are one of the most painful things in life.

Remembering how things used to be and what has been lost makes the present even more painful.
