It's interesting how people who blame us for the loss of a loved one neatly fit the first 3 stages of grief:

• Denial - "if they hadn't found SS they wouldn't have died"
• Anger - "it's the fault of SS members/mods that they died"
• Bargaining - "if we take SS down nobody else has to die"

Maybe that's just me reading too much into it.

Side note: please don't go light up that Twitter account, they're trolling for exactly that reaction. Let them shout into the void. We know what good we do, that's all that matters.

it is a purely emotional and senseless attack... probably someone close to that person has just completed CTB or maybe simply suicide is a sensitive issue for him for personal reasons outside the forum and administrators... You don't have to pay much attention to those kinds of people when they do that.

This is the reason why I hate peoples, so judgmental and no compassion. They don't even try to understand why this website can be helpful for people like us, who are suffering and are suicidal. So quick to point the finger and put it down instead of trying to deeply understand. That's what's missing in this world - true compassion. I never try to judge people, always try to understand where they're coming from, why they do the things they do no matter how crazy, evil and absurd. We all have our reasons, we're all flawed. So far this website gave me so much insight and comfort, like I'm not alone with my thoughts. Everyone has a story.

Yes, I had a happy life playing Cookie Clicker until my arm itched and I accidentally googled suicide methods. When my hand slipped on the link for this site an eye lash fell into my eye, I started blinking frantically and unknowingly read the first post. Suddenly I felt my heart succumb to the darkness of depression, and I felt suicidal for the first time.

This was the worst day of my life and it's all Serge's and Marquis' fault. Fuck these guys.
