This idea too extreme?

My bed is right beside the window. I'm thinking of tying the rope around the head of the bed and jumping out the window, while I have a plastic bag over my head (being held over my head by the slipknot). My thought process is that this method means that even in the chance the rope loosens after I pass out, i still have the plastic bag around my head to cause me to suffocate.

I'm not very familiar with hanging, but isn't a drop very difficult to calculate? Like, there's some sweet spot using the right distance and width of rope that your neck will snap instantly, but outside that sweet spot it's a painful death. Someone with better hanging knowledge could probably give a better answer.

It's not the pain I'm concerned about here. I don't mind about 30 seconds of agony
