Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I got dropped from my last therapist for being too sick. It's about to push me over the edge because I have a lot of dependence on her - but I have things I need to do before the end. Do you think it's fair of me to start up with a new therapist even if I plan to ctb? On the one hand it might buy me a little time to have someone to talk to or make things a little less awful, on the other he might get me committed (not that it matters - been there done that) or tell me I'm wasting his time.

I honestly don't know. But I myself have been dropped for being unhelpable. I knew that my problems couldn't be helped, but having someone to talk to irl helped a bit. Just that little social interaction to keep me sane.

As for the moral side, I don't think it's unfair to get a new therapist. I planned to ctb many times right after I met with them. Shitty move, right? If you need help and support, then go for it. The moral dilemma can wait. It's selfish, but everyone is selfish so don't beat yourself up. But it's okay if you don't want to get another therapist. Just don't feel guilty asking for help, okay?

Get a new therapist. Best outcome is you resonate with them, make a connection, and stick around. Worst case, you don't think it's helpful and you're back to where you are right now.

If you specifically seek out a therapist who specializes in suicidal tendencies, not only will they be better equipped to help you, you probably won't be the first patient they've lost.

You should get a new therapist, if for no other reason than to make your remaining time on this Earth more bearable.
