Not that I care all that much… But the world expects us to get up every day and be productive, and if we're feeling bad to find a way to suck it up or solve it… But sometimes you get to a place that's entirely hopeless, and you don't have the energy, and pretending is becoming more and more difficult to do… Then all you can do is hide And secretly plot your demise…
But I can feel that undercurrent of judgment… People trying to be sympathetic and impatient - It's only been a few months, I'm sure the patience will go away, And if I'm still alive, my new identity as a total waste case will solidify into something more permanent rather than a "temporary crisis"… All the more reason to get that bus ticket soon…

I feel you. You can hear it on their voices and see it in their eyes that you are just a bit less worth than them. The working functioning part of society keeping it all togheter. You should be able to do it too, so why dont you?
All with a smile and hidden under well meaning platitudes.

Yes, the society expects us to suffer for decades and put up with this life, no matter how bad things get. People who are not suicidal themselves would never be able to comprehend what it is like. Wanting to die can be perfectly rational in a world as horrible as this.
