  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

everytime i think about that in the future (after death), none of my problems will matter at all, brings me great comfort.
almost everytime in this life that i went out of my way to obtain a goal or achieve something,
not only did i not achieve it...
it got even WORSE!

story of my life.
almost always happens.

i do my best to really fucking achieve a goal, and like i just said; not only do i not achieve the goal... THE SITUATION GETS EVEN WORSE!
omg. so why the fuck try anymore?

when trying, most of the time, obviously only equals even MORE misery

---------------------------------------------------------------

that's another reason i lost my faith in god.

i also just watched two conjoined twins.
and then i googled how often it occurs, and it's once in 50K births.
that's still quite a lot to me.
how many births happen in a year?

i just don't believe a god can be so evil to allow all this suffering, if he's supossed to be all powerful.

Death is the greatest bliss.
The best thing about life is that it is not perpetual , there is a way out when it gets unbearable.

Yes it is really hard to obtain a method that is quick , painless and certain.
A bullet to the head is the most certain and it seems quite painless as it knocks out the center of the neurological system before you even realize that you actually died. But unfortunately access to this method is very restricted.
Most of the methods discussed on this platform are just useless crap (like SN) and if they do work they would give the most excruciating pain before you die , I think nobody deserves this horrible death , if you are going to CTB at least give yourself a quick and peaceful exit.

Just wanting some peace

I also find so much comfort in non-existence, for me ceasing to exist is the only peace and relief, in this existence where there's all this cruelty and suffering with no limit as to how much one can be tortured non-existence really is all that's positive for me, I just want all to be gone and forgotten for me, I wish for no more pain and no more suffering.

It's a pretty odd concept when you think about it but, I also share it. I suppose it depends on beliefs but, I'm not sure we'll be even able to appreciate that sense of peace after death.

In a way, I'm making a conscious effort to appreciate that state now in a way. I tell myself- you don't have to do anything you don't want to do today. Don't stress about work or house work or, your future. (You're not having one!) Eat what you want. Do what you want. Do nothing. Don't feel guilty about it.

The problem with life of course is that, following that attitude fully leads to destitution if no one is looking after you. Plus, bed sores and worsening depression most likely. Plus, it's been ingrained in me to feel guilty about it and even if I don't, at some point a family member will ring and make sure I do!

So yeah, death will hopefully mark the end to all this shit. Do you ever hope just briefly that you'll realise that you're dead though? That all your problems are over? Like those brief few seconds when you've woken up, before reality descends? I don't know really. It's a strange concept in away. No more us to feel relieved that we aren't us anymore.

i feel you.
some days after i've thought a lot about death and decided to finally pull the plug, the following days i walk around all happy
and cheery.
which seems very weird, but the reason is that we know the pain will stop.
and how can that NOT make us happy?

it's something i truly learnt.
that's why people always say "but he or she looked so happy in their last photo, it makes no sense"...
except it does make sense. perfect sense.
because they had decided to finally catch the bus and they know peace is coming

well, the peace is the lack of misery.

i never really thought about that, but actually, yes i do hope that.
it's like a nice confirmation that it did really happen

Extreme Pain is much worse than people know

1 micro-second after my brain dies it will be eternal non-existence for me after that for all time i will cease to exist

non-existence forever is the ultimate bliss. never a chance of suffering , pain , problems nor bad memories.

permanent non-existence is the only perfection because of all this on this post.

non-existence forever is the only guarantee of never suffering so bad that it's a trillion times worse than the worst you can imagine.

all my problems solved instantly and forever right after my brain dies

it's either eternal non-existence or you never die just change lives / states. if there were an afterlife or reincarnation you die and then you are conscious again some time in the future . however doesnt matter how much time passed because to you any temprorary non-existence period will be like it never happened because you can't tell time if you don't exist or are unconsouis. so the horror of continously existing for trillions of years or non-existence forever which is better ? non-existence forever is better
