my father gets 100ml bottles of metamizole for his leg pain.
tomorrow I want to drink it and pass out in the bathtub, so I drown in case the medication itself won't kill me.
what do you think? Will it work?

life never really was for me. And yet I was forced to participate.

EDIT: GREAT! so that won't work either! JUST PERFECT!

The effectiveness highly depends on how many mg of metamizole are in those bottles, and even though is one of the strongest of its kind, seems like even 50 g are survivable. It won't cause anything that could potentially harm you until 24 hours or more, on which the renal system will start to get affected. To me, does not seem very reliable, so please be careful. I highly doubt you will pass out from the medication, to then drown.
All I am saying came from a quick search on the internet, so take it with a grain of salt.

Good luck.

thank you.
it says 500mg on the bottle.
I was very happy the past week thinking I found a reliable method And now this...
I tried doing some research myself but it was the usual "number of a suicide hotline" or "in case of overdose call poison control (or whatever you call this in Englis)"
I'm fucking desperate!

No problem, and yeah, is your call if you want to give it a go but my research told me, that in case of mild intoxication, during the first 6 hours you can experience:
  • Nausea, vomiting, pains in the abdominal region, diarrhea
  • Central nervous symptoms (restlessness, agitation, vertigo, somnolence, convulsions, coma)
  • Blood pressure decrease → shock, tachycardia
  • Respiratory disturbances, decompensation of the acid-base balance
  • Disturbed serum electrolytes (hypernatremia, hypocalcemia), temperature regulation, and water retention
None of those seems prone to do any significant damage, not even the 24-48 hours symptoms.
The ones that seem harmful, like a coma, are not definitive, and since it depends to each organism and body, those are not guaranteed; is too unpredictable of a method imo.
There is not a lot of info to go on, so again, I would highly avoid it and in the process not mess with your fathers medication, which I am sure he needs.
Despair is intense, but take your time to search through resources to avoid harming yourself in an unintended way.

Good luck.
