Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

The tragedy is the constant, unbearable pain and unhappiness that people feel that drives them to suicide. and destroys their quality of life. Suicide, to them,is the solution and end to all their troubles. If they suicide, they suffer no more sorrow or pain, presumably.

I think both is a tragedy. The unbearable life and the suicide.
At least for me committing suicide is really really painful and needs a lot of desperation. When I approached suicide the depression and pain were extreme.
I think I will cry a lot during the last moments on earth. I think at least for my case I am pretty sure that both is a tragedy. Things like child abuse which leads to suicide should not happen. But seemingly it does. The world is cruel.

I think it is more a tragedy to be born in the first place. Saying that there are some lucky people who have managed to make life enjoyable. I think it all depends on your health, your finances, your location and your support group. Even, then people can have depression and not want to be here. It really is a messy world.

The tragedy is that there are no successful methods to relieve the issues prompting you to ctb. To ctb is just an early application of what we all will face eventually.

I agree the world is very cruel. The biggest problem is that it doesn't have to be a cruel world. Greed & hate have turned this world into a hellish void of pain & suffering. If you're a sensitive or caring person, it makes life unbearable. I don't know how good people can find happiness in this life.

I think I don't agree. Not sure if I really want to start a debate. But for me it is a huge difference. Feeling forced to kill oneself after a life full of extreme pain and sadness. Or dying with 95 after having a fullfiling, happy and meaningful life, dying naturally in the arms of my partner who loved me till the end. I think with "what we all will face eventually" you want to allude to death. But there are diffferent experiences how to die. This is at least what I think. This is why I think assisted suicide should be legal. It is a huge difference between having to hide my whole plans and having to die like a criminal or getting an exit with dignity.
Or maybe my interpretation is wrong. I don't get the part with application fully..

Suicide to me is freedom from this life and constant pain. Can't deal with this any more. It's a tragedy to have to go through this and being the person that I am.

It's complicated, I do think suicide is a tragedy in some ways because people don't choose to resort to it without there being circumstances leading to it. It's sad to me that people have no way out, and that the world is cruel and unjust to so many of us. That's the part that I find tragic, I like to think we all deserve better than to hate life so much we must put an end to it.
Though I don't think suicide is always this horrible and negative thing in itself, as I hope we all find peace in whatever comes afterwards. it's a conflicting topic for sure.
Evil government, and evil corporations have turned this world into a very cold and cruel place. Even otherwise reasonably caring people are so caught up on the treadmill that they can barely afford to care.
Everyone is so twisted up and scared trying to survive that they don't react with care and compassion for their fellow human beings.
I really can't say that I see suicide as a good option. But that doesn't mean I don't understand feeling totally helpless and seeing suicide as the only way out.

I agree that suicide is not tragic. Death would solve all my problems and would take away all my suffering. I would finally be at peace, I would no longer have to deal with this horrible life. Me dying would be the best possible thing and my death would not be sad. I do not feel sad about leaving this world behind, in fact it is all that I want. I think the whole suicide is tragic thing comes from the pro life idea that suicide is something that is wrong and must always be prevented, when in fact there is nothing wrong with suicide, it is a human right and we will all die eventually someday anyway.

If we stopped overworking ourselves pointlessly & had 15 hour workweeks or something (as economists like Keynes thought we would by now), millions of us might devote our time to immortality research
But humanity's in a suicidal death cult, burning our world :)
