Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

There is also Pegasos, unfortunately, they don't provide services for the young and depressed. I would pay a lot of money for the clinic that can do that.

Belgium approves euthanasia for the mentally ill and minors. They have the most lax laws regarding euthanasia. But unlike other European countries they do not allow tourists/noncitizens. Maybe in the future other countries will follow suit and allow more people to become euthanized. I believe the right to die is a fundamental human right.

The next best option is sourcing and administrating N yourself.

Yep, but it is hard to get, and still there are some risks.

The countries that are most liberal when it comes to permitting doctor assisted suicide are those that don't accept international patients (patients from other countries), there's a video on YouTube of a 24 year old Belgian woman who got the green light for an assisted suicide but didn't go through with it and there have also been other Belgians in their mid 20's (all women I think) who have received the greenlight for an assisted suicide but as far as I know none of them have gone through with it. As far as I know the youngest able bodied but mentally ill person to go through with a doctor assisted suicide is a 29 year old Dutch woman. And the Netherlands, despite such liberal laws for their own citizens, do not extend that law for non nationals unfortunately.

If you have the money and do a little research it is surprisingly easy to source.

That's very sad.

Yep but there are legal risks. I don't want to be put in jail, it is no better than psych ward.

United Kingdom is currently discussing assisted dying under the parliamentary bill. I think it will pass and become statute, because its already passed a major hurdle. Unfortunately, it can take time and the criteria on who will qualify under legally assisted dying is unknown at this time. Terminally ill patients of course are the focus here, but there's often amendments too so we have to wait and see.

In the meantime, people continue to die horribly, without hope, without dignity, often in pain and loss of autonomy. this is a situation I cannot face. I need control!.

It's shocking that end of life options are still considered controversial in most places. It shouldnt even be a question that people deserve compassion and relief from their suffering,if they desire. People are afraid that God will punish them if they are pro-active regarding death, Yet people don't hesitate to give birth and would never think to ask permission to do it. Everyone plays God, whether they realize it or not.

Is giving birth playing God?

Absolutely. It's playing god as much as anything else. Creating new life. That's basically what gods do.

Is that pro-choice or anti-life?

What is the correct pro-choice mantra? "Live and let die"?

Yea let live and let die, when a person chooses. My point was that some people use the term playing god as an argument against suicide or euthanasia. But humanity is always playing god, especially in giving birth, so there's no reason to be any more fearful about euthanasia or suicide then in giving birth. Except the difference is that birth is imposed, while suicide is a conscious choice. So granting the right to die is really the least that should be done.

Other EU citizens are legally allowed to seek assisted suicide or euthanasia in Belgium although it's a bit more complicated than for Belgian citizens, but yes, non-EU citizens can't at all. As for EU citizens, expect months of paperwork between Belgium and your home country (that may blockade your attempt, biggest pitfall here), and many visits to the doctor and psychologist before being approved, you will also have to pay for all of this out of pocket since you aren't entitled to the Belgian social security.

Thanks for that bit of info, I never knew Belgian Doctors could assist other Eu members (albeit after lengthy paperwork and other prerequisites)
