I will be getting electroshock therapy which includes a general anaesthesia and I was thinking of doing the thing said not to do before being put under and eat and or drink so it might go into my lungs and kill me. Is this a method or a non method? I am too exhausted to try and look it up myself.

I tried to do some research for you but there is not any clear answer on this.

I think that the mortality rate is on the lower end because if you were to start asphyxiating the doctors would immediately perform live saving measures, conceding that you are in a medical environment surrounded by people who know what to do in a crisis. I think a lot of the methods here rely on nobody being able to find and help you until it's too late.

Not a doctor.

Thank you, that is very nice of you to do. I remember there being a story of people dying this way on accident but I guess it is not super reliable

Yeah for sure. I think I came to the conclusion that patients will either throw up, die, or have permanent brain damage. Only take this with a grain of salt, but I think the chances of you surviving or ending up a vegetable is higher than dying. So yes for sure a nonmethod. Stay safe!

Yeah, they'd just save you anyway. May as well try to get the benefit of the treatment. You can always CTB after, without involving anyone else if you're still not feeling any better.
