Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I live in a small town in the USA of about 10k people, the biggest store we have is a wal mart. O our state is ranked the in the last three states for mental health, which might explain why a bridge over a good sized river is gaining popularity as a suicide hotspot.

it's not the height that kills people though, there's probably eight feet to drop. But kids, like teenagers and early twenties, are getting backpacks full of rocks and trying the straps together around their chest and jumping off. It's pretty gruesome, and drowning sounds terrifying. Three corpses have been found in the river, the first two connected and the third not.

The local news is getting worked up about it and reporting on it, but ironically I think that's bringing more people in. I learned it from the news, so who else is thinking of joining them? Drowning sounds like a terrifying way to go. I can imagine SI and last regrets as you're gasping for air. That and it's really cold.

Thoughts? Would you CTB like this? I'm getting desperate.
Also, I recognize that drowning has a high pain index and lower success rate which makes me wonder. Our town is big on guns, I feel it's a desperation thing.

I couldn't drown myself, it just seems an awful way to go. People who've been rescued when drowning, say it's quite peaceful once you've inhaled the water, but I can't say I believe them and the desperation to avoid inhaling the water must feel horrible.

I have considered ctb by drowning in the past, but after reading about it, I see it as a terrifying way to go. I think it is difficult because you have to overcome the SI. I wish it was easier to leave this world.

I simply couldn't bring myself to do it - I think there would be too much time spent in consciousness during the process. Personally my method is going to be SN - arrived in the mail today.

Drowning does seem terrifying, I don't think I could ctb in that way even if I was desperate.
