Stab self in heart

No because if i fail, it leaves a big scar and makes my body even worse than it already is.

I think the pain and SI would be too much to overcome.

Yes but SI would probably prevent you from doing it or at least cause you to make a hesitation stab and not actually hit the heart.

Unless you're a cardiologist with a great knowledge of anatomy there's a high probability you'd either take a long time to die and suffer or just plain survive it and do damage. Also as someone else said it's really difficult to overcome the self preservation instinct enough to plunge the knife in hard enough through the pain and ribcage , etc. I really Highly recommend you do not do this

Why do tv shows show stabbing someone thru the armpit to get to the heart? Idk man....

Also, you have to pull the knife out, double pain, then wait to bleed out.

These are usually impulse attempts. I wouldn't plan to do this method myself when there are other ways...

I dunno. It would be hard enough to maneuver around/break through the ribcage. I think this is prone to failure and serious bodily injury/disability

Knife to the heart is how Elliott Smith, my favorite musical artist, ended it. Gotta be one of the most difficult methods to successfully pull off though.

I thought about that as a method of finally unleashing my self-hatred against me. But the pain would just be too unbereable, nobody could withstand that pain.

Edit: Also , one would be likely to miss.

You would actually die from blood loss IMO, slow and miserable. Even if you injured vital organs what's your prize? Dying agonically all the same.

A really badass way to clock out, but not something I could pull off. No amount of alcohol or benzos in the world could get me to muster up the courage to shove a cold blade into my chest…I think I'll stick to partial hanging; although even that has its challenges.

Absolutely not. Firstly I might get the totally wrong place and die an agonising, slow death. Secondly the SI - I mean I'm not sure I even have the physical strength to stab hard enough at that angle, but as soon as that pain kicks in and I hear that crunch I am NOT gonna be able to commit to that and I am NOT gonna end up stabbing deep enough. It's also just super gruesome and terrifying which is really hard to overcome personally. I could never.

I always have pain as my preference, I also like burning and drowning. I believe the spirit will get trapped in the earth realm if we don't realise we've died... I also think a painful method is fitting for me because I've lived my life in pain, so to live such a life and died relatively peacefully doesn't fit for me

My first realization of the existence of SI was when I tried to go through with this method with a knife when I was 6 years old.

Currently in a "God would things be so much better and simpler if I'd succeeded" kind of mood.

id advise against that, not only is it extremely painful but its difficult imo.

youd need surgical precision and force.

the ribs and bones and thick flesh and muscles around the heart would make it difficult.

its not a guarantee not that any method is but this seems extra dangerous and alot of effort and pain with low chances.

I thought about buying a gun and shooting myself in the heart. Figured it should be as lethal as a headshot but allow an open casket funeral.

I thinks its a good way aswell. I also like burning and drowning. Peaceful or pain-free suicide is my idea of hell, I'd feel like I was cheating my death. I WANT to go out in glory and that requires pain!
