I just discovered this. Basically a litre of soy sauce will do the trick. Not even that much. Salt poisoning was quite a method in China.

I believe it to be painful and slow. And there are great chances of failure leaving serious sequelae in the brain.
We still have little information about this method.

Well she recovered from 1 liter over 2 hours, which was supposed to be 5 times the lethal dose of sodium. Seems like a long shot way to get it to work; of course she drank it over 2 hours; it still seems like if she drank it over a much shorter time there would be a lot of chance of throwing it up.

I just tried this. I got 900ml of soy sauce. I was able to drink about 400ml, I felt dizzy and I puked it all up again. I wouldn't advise this as a legit method.
