Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

"Montaigne wrote that death itself is nothing. It is only the fear of death that makes death seem important. Am I afraid? Certainly, and yet . . ."

For those of you who don't know, Montaigne was a French philosopher. I'm not at all familiar with him, and this quote is from a book called A Tale for the Time Being by Ruth Ozeki. It really made me sit back and think. I am not afraid of death, and yet death seems extremely important only because I know how my children will react if and when I choose to follow through with my plan.

As of Sunday I had completely changed my mind about the whole affair and posted about it here, but unfortunately, I ran into another member here a couple of months ago who recently made a veiled threat against me which could very well force my hand. It is a dreadful feeling, and while I have reached out in a very kind way to try and diffuse the situation, this person has turned out to be a coward who will no longer acknowledge or own up to what he has done one way or the other. I have shared alot of personal info with him and I am afraid that he will dox me, or worse.

Regarding this site, my advice to you is this: when you're dealing with someone who is not afraid to die, you face the possibility of dealing with reckless behavior. It is too late for me to do anything about this situation, and now I am petrified of this person. If he is aware of that, and is reading this post, I'm sure it is to his great satisfaction. Strangely enough, he recently lost someone he loved dearly to suicide, so he knows what it's like to be on the other end of it. I'm sure that death seems extremely important to him.

Please forgive this passive aggressive post, I just needed to get it off my chest. It's amazing how one little quote spawned all of these thoughts for me.
