IDK if this belongs here or in off topic
I sometimes have an urge to be as alone as humanly possible, even more so that I am already. But even if you live completely alone and work alone, there are some aspects of socialization that will likely creep through. In my opinion, listening to podcasts, music, or even reading books all count as a form of socialization. It may not be a direct form of communication, but there still is some kind of interaction happening because someone else created the media, and you are interacting with it. I've never isolated myself to the extent of absolving from art and media, because they are entertaining and a good cope. But I wonder if anyone else here has reached this level of isolation, otherwise feel free to share your thoughts about isolation and how it relates to art/media
