Sn prep What is the recommended dose of propranolol

The Peaceful pill handbook is recommending 800 milligrams. I have 20 milligram tablet which are sustained release which means I have to get 40 tablets. My problem is I am not able to understand if there will be side effects of this medication if I survive the attempt. Can I take 3 or 4 tablets like around 80 milligram and still hope to succeed

Also I don't clearly understand when to take it is it one hour before.

I'm gonna take 800mg, but in my case, it's 40mg tablet.
80mg is nothing, I used to take 240mg before presentations and felt basically the same
