Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I'm personally going for SN over a gun because the failed attempts of a gunshot wound are far more terrifying than a failed SN attempt.

SN if you're able to source it. Survival instinct will hold you back from using a gun very heavily, and the aftermath is a bit traumatic for some that may find you.

Personally I would pick a gun.

It's easier to have a failed attempt if you use SN, there has been a lot of posts I've seen here of these failed attempts/early interventions on this forum, a gun is a shorter and more final end if you're commited to make sure you ctb.

While it's true that a botched gun suicide is worse than SN, latter is easier to back out on, and the experience during that longer time frame isn't easy ( severe nausea, headaches, shortness of breath etc.)

This is coming from someone who has SN and for now will use it as the main method to ctb, but if I could get a firearm I would use that instead.

Psychologically it's easier for me than waiting even for just 40 minutes as the very least, as my SI can kick in and I back out.
