So my testing strips arrived and the results are not so good. I tested it two times and the color shown on the strip is a bit lighter than it should be.
Can anyone please PM a reliable source that ships to EU? I read about a czech and an ukranian seller, but anything would be fine, as long as it's the real deal. Thank you

Just to save you some time in sourcing SN.... are you able to briefly detail your testing method?

It's important to do it correctly (using scales to measure SN and millilitre measuring cup/bottle/syringe to measure the water)

I did it correctly. I have Quantofix testing strips that measure up to 80mg/l of NO2. I even bought a scale that can measure 0,1g just for this. Syringe, distilled water in 1l bottles, I have it all. And have done exactly as you said. Found the instructions on another thread.

I did a test for 5mg/l and 10 mg/l and yesterday I did a third test for 20mg/l and the difference in color is even more noticeable.

The only two explanations I have are that the scale is faulty, or not so precise, or that the SN is not pure enough.

Anyway, I just ordered SN from another source. Will be testing it too. And if it's not good, I will order again. I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to ctb cause I already have a botched attempt under my belt, and I will make sure everything is bulletproof this time, don't worry.

Have you thought about "calibration weights"/"jewellers weights" (about £8/$10 on Amazon) to test the scale? Or the free alterative is to test currency in your country (e.g. In the UK, 20p coin weighs 5g, and 10p coin weighs 6.5g, etc)

Also, fuck! I tried it and yes, my scale is for shit. I weighed all the denominations I have and the weigh shown is mostly more than it should be. Also, weighing the literal same coin gave me different results a couple of times.

The fact that it shows more means I probably put too little SN when I tested. So it may be pure after all. Gotta get a new scale lol

Well at least now I'll have SN for 80 attempts
