SN from BO (BM brand), why isn't the purity written on the bottle? How can we be sure how pure it is?

On BO's website they say the purity of sn is at least 98%, I bought it from the german version of the website, there's also a polish one. But on the bottle of sn it doesn't say what purity it has. I don't understand why they didn't write it, is it normal for a company to not write the purity on the bottle? What if it's not as pure as the website says? If it's not pure enough to be lethal then sn won't work. Also there was no CoA, meaning a certificate of authenticity, when the sn arrived, what does this mean? How can we be sure this website is legit and if the sn is as pure as they say? I tested it with aquarium test strips, based on the colour charts of the strips the results seemed positive but I don't think these tests, the aquarium tests and blood test, are reliable enough. The aquarium tests don't show you the exact percentage of the purity, they just give you an idea of the level of nitrites present in sn but I don't think it's enough to prove its purity. Another way might be to send it to a laboratory but I never sent something to a lab before and since sn is a dangerous chemical, what could I say to the people working there? I don't know if just saying that it's for meat curing is believable enough to prove why I own this chemical if I don't have a license to show them, I don't think many people have this chemical so I'm not sure how we can be sure the sn is pure enough

"Primarily by buying from a trustworthy source.
They may lose a lot from selling bad wares. For a reputable business reputation matters.
If you on the other hand buy from weird online sources, the seller probably just wants to make money and low purity or concentration is a classic way to do that."

The one I bought it runs for more than 10y and has a good reputation....

If you want to be sure you can send it to a lab but you got to do your own research for that. I wont be doing that - but that's your call....

What do you mean by airtight more specifically? The bottle was tightly closed when it arrived, I assume this makes it airtight but I don't know how else to make sure it's airtight. I store the sn in the same bottle, I opened it when I tested the sn and then closed it tightly, is it fine if it's stored like this? Also I keep it in my wardrobe away from sunlight and heat, I know that's how it should be kept but I don't know for sure if keeping it in the same bottle after I opened it is fine

I found a random reseller, it shipped from Poland to Germany then to me. Haven't tested it yet. It seems probably legit I'm just mildly concerned about it oxidising in this bottle. But apparently that happens slowly. I've just transferred it into an airtight mason jar I ordered on Amazon. Not tested it yet, too much brain fog to follow the instructions around concentration, so unsure if I will be able to. You?

I think the bottle the sn arrived in is airtight, I don't think the company would put sn in something that isn't airtight but that's just my opinion, I'm not sure. Also I don't know if closing the bottle and leaving it like this after opening it for testing sn is fine, I thought it's fine and that it won't affect the purity of sn but I'm not sure

if the purity is 90% (its never that low, but i wanna overexaggerate just to show), taking 20g, you would still be ingesting 18g, more than enough to kill you. But if you specifically want to take 20g SN and youre worried about purity, just take 21-22g.

What I'm saying is we don't know for sure how pure sn is, we only know what the source we buy from claims, such as BO for example, but we don't know if that's really true or not. Should we just trust what BO says?

They are a chemical supplier, they also sell to labs. I would trust a legit chemical supplier. It's not the dark web. That's just my opinion.

I think both the german and polish websites are the same, they're both from BO, I don't know which one is better

They are a chemical supplier, they also sell to labs. I would trust a legit chemical supplier. It's not the dark web. That's just my opinion.

It's understandable that people are worried for such an inportant thing. One polish site I found seems legit, but it also is half assed in some parts, such as having lorem ipsum in FAQ. On one hand it's not that importanr, but if it turns out to be fake (I received mine, but still worried), it's gonna suck if we don't know for certain what we are taking

Mine specifically says that it´s for industrial use (non-food grade), will it work to CTB? I ask about purity and they sent this. The first line says result 99.4 but i´m super confused if it´s talking about purity

yes it says 99.4g/100g is NaNO2, with a minimum of 99g/100g, so 99% purity at least. It doesn't matter whether it is food grade or not, you're taking it to die, not use it for it's intended purposes.
