I've found SN salt and this is the chemical breakdown of it - if anyone knows if this is as lethal as SN or the same type of stuff can you let me know?

Purity level information of nitrite salt: Sodium Chloride: 99.35% – Sodium Nitrite 0.6% (NaNo2 0.6%)

Yes. It needs to be at least 98%.

Chloride + Nitrite is fine for preserving meat (in fact a low proportion of nitrite is better for safety reasons). Stuff you can buy on Amazon is very unreliable for CTB.

People with a little chemistry knowledge could separate the two compounds, but it's not economical, as you'd need to buy a lot to get a sufficient dose.

Ok fab thanks. I have found DMC but it's really expensive so I was looking at alternatives.

Good to know this isn't it!

SN actually needs to be 95%+ to be considered effective, not 99% as others have previously stated.
99% is the highest purity sold 🤗🌹💔

Sodium Chloride is just table salt. The one you use to salt your food. So not good.
