• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I have a condition that prevents me from sleeping for days on end. Since then I've begun having heart palpitations.

Is there a way to use this condition to ctb if I need to?

Trying to sleep even less?
About 10-14 days should do the trick...probably hard to achieve though.

You could also start doing cardio like a mad man. If your heart is weak it might stop all together at some point.

Other than that...just the usual.

But please take care and don't take my word for any of it, it's simply brainstorming.

How many days? I don't know anything about this to be honest but I guess it's still really hard to actually do.

DEFINITELY NO !!!!
Severe sleep deprivation is like every day smoking 2 packs of cigs., drinking 10 beers and only eat fast food.
You won't die suddenly, but rest assure your body will slowly but surely deteriorate: diabetes, metabolic syndrome, hartdisease and even cancer.
I also have heart/cardiovascular problems from sleep deprevation (having trouble breathing and fluid building up, sometimes there's a heavy feeling on my chest like an elephant is sitting on my chest)
I don't get this ludicrous idee that you can ctb by simply try not to sleep (which would even impossible in a normal person, your sleep debt would be so great you eventually fall asleep).
The only people who would die from sleep deprivation are those who suffer from fatal familial insomnia: they're awake for several months, get in a coma and finally die.
