in regards to hypothetically suicing in a tent.

you act normal, just happy and having a normal BBQ outside you tent.

then when it's time to CTB... you go in the tent, and bring the charcoal with you.

to my knowledge, you bring it inside the tent when the charcoal is white or starts turning white.
i heard that's when it gives off the most deadly gas.

but as i asked before... does it give off a smell which could alert strangers? and they might try to "rescue" you?

I think it's possible? I've burned charcoal tablets inside my bedroom before (when burning incense) and it smelled bad.

But, then again, that was an open space, not a tent.

I would think as long as you secure any gaps between the tent and the floor, maybe it won't be a problem.

Mnh, I don't think it should have a detectable smell at that stage. That's why it's so dangerous and people end up dying from accidental CO poisoning, no?

No matter how much I seal the gaps in the tent with tape,
it's hard to make it completely airtight, so I'm worried this method might not work.
Have you ever heard of a case where someone suffocated inside a sealed tent?

did you attempt it before?
or did you experiment with a tent you have?
how do you determine it's not totally air tight and sealed?
i guess maybe you can hear the wind from outside or something.
or similar little signs to let you know
