My SN is arriving today and I'm trying to plan when I want to take it.

Only thing is I keep imagining myself the moment after taking it freaking out due to SI and not having a peaceful passing or even worse calling an ambulance. I wish SN unconsciousness could kick in faster. I'm trying to figure out how I'll get over that damn SI :( I almost want to take the SN impulsively without thinking
And it's not that I'm unsure. I should've done this already. It's more that I know my damn SI will convince me life is worth living no matter how bad things are. I wish I had N

you might be able to get an app to lock your phone for a period of time so you can't make any phone calls, you could always take the battery out and hide it somewhere far away from the house, but then survival instinct might force you to seek help from neighbours.

Yes, it is very difficult to ctb as we are programmed to survive, it is the way we have evolved. Of course N is the best ctb method in my opinion, but the society denies us a peaceful exit, it is cruel. Anyway, I wish you the best with your plans, I hope you find the peace you are looking for.

There are a lot of tips in Stan's Guide, on this site, to try to give you a better chance at a peaceful passing, plus a lot of posts and a thread about successes and failures that can help as well. SN is a method that the more you know and can then apply the better your chances are. Of course this is not great news since depression can causes lower energy and makes it a lot harder to get things done, which is why it seems some people work on it for quite a while before they try it. If you only have SN and none of the other medications the odds of it working are not good- this is covered in Stan's Guide.

Do you have benzos with you? For people with anxiety taking SN might be harder. Benadryl should work.

That's exactly how I feel. I'm finding it so hard to even get the energy to try and get these prescriptions

I think I am a lot older than you... And really. Honest to fuck. Please don't try SN without the antiemetic and benzos.

I have just manage to get SN. I have benzos and antiemitics.

The idea of failing with my plan is worse than anything I can imagine. Following Stan's guide is really the best way forward. Even if you have to wait a little longer.

So I finally got a doctors appt over the phone. Instead of giving me meto my doctor gave me naproxen for migraines even though I kept mentioning nausea lol I was at least able to get a benzo (Ativan). I may have to just go through with just the painkiller, Benzo and sn.

Some people use Meclizine as an otc alternative to meto (not as good, but likely better than nothing). You can see posts from Cheers on 10/30 to see her protocol which included this. I think she also used an antacid.

Being sure is not enough when you decide to ctb, being prepared is. I've been there where you have absolutely no energy nor will power to plan and executive certain actions. But when it comes to ctb, you must muster all the energy you have to make sure you're doing it right. This means securing as many of the meds mentioned in Stan's guide as possible to minimize your chances of failure.

Life sucks, but it can always suck more if you fail. That's what I always try to keep in mind, and which is why I'm on SS everyday trying to learn more about SN and what I need to do to minimize my chances of failure when I decide to go through.
