Should i try to move in with mom?

She lives like a hour away but comes to visit sometimes. She'll tell me "when are you going to live with us"?? should i send a message to ask to move in with her?

My problem is that I've already been forced to start a semester of school that father pays for. Living in his house is psychologically draining and making me want to ctb. I have spent 10 years unable to be myself living in his shadow. I have suicidial thoughts and have even attempted ctb multiple times because of this torture I go through everyday. I am not happy living here, i am going to start sh if I have to keep being here, keep going to college i hate.... How do i explain all this to my mother without alarming her? I just want to not feel inferior everyday

It sounds like it's worth doing, if you think you might be happier living with her than with your father. If the idea of totally opening up to your mom feels overwhelming, you can try doing it partially, or gradually instead. you can simply tell her you have been feeling really sad and overwhelmed recently, and you think you might be having some mental health issues. You don't need to tell her everything right away.
