Hello,
I need some outside opinion whether or not to include the short story Ex Oblivione by H.P. Lovecraft in my goodbye letter. It's very short (about 1 page), here's a link: https://www.hplovecraft.com/writings/texts/fiction/eo.aspx
I would of course write the normal goodbye letter, but this short story is something that really resonates with me and I always kinda viewed it as a goodbye letter in itself.
However, I am afraid that I am being way too sentimental/dramatic and putting way too much personal interpretation, and while it offers me a lot of comfort, it would not be helpful/understandable for my family.
I know this is kinda stupid, but I would just like to know what is your impression of the short story; or if you think something like this would be okay to include as part of the goodbye letter.
I would be very grateful for any response :)
