Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Anyone else scared they may fail with SN and end up a potato for 20 years. It seems like most ppl that fail dont suffer long term effects from what Ive read but its the biggest issue holding me back.

If someone has permanent brain demage, he/she wont be able to tell us about it. We had this debate before. Most users claim permanent brain demage or other remaining health problems are impossible. I doubt it. If you decide to use SN I recommend to have "Methylene blue" just in case you wake up again. It is an antidote that helps you to recover.

SN causes your blood to be deprived of oxygen. When your organs and tissues can't get enough oxygen, you die. Given enough time, SN will kill you. When people try to ctb with SN and fail, it is almost exclusively due to being caught before death. (This has been documented in other threads.)
If you are discovered while still alive (or if you decide to seek medical help yourself during the process), you'll be given methylene blue in hospital. This helps to restore your oxygen levels. If it can restore oxygen levels in time, you survive. That's what typically happens.
There is no permanent damage caused to your organs by the temporary lack of oxygen. That's why one of the main reasons SN is such a popular method.

Methemoglobinemia is cause of death for SN.
People who take SN can only be recovered by methylene blue. There is no long term damage because unlike Asphyxia you're not starved of oxygen the same way hanging is.
I am pretty sure people can make full recovery nearly every time without side effects .
This isn't true. Your organs can be permanently damaged when they aren't able to get enough of oxygen. A normal oxygen level is 95 percent or higher. If someone's oxygen level drops into the 80s this is dangerous and will cause permanent organ damage if your oxygen level doesn't return to normal. If someone's oxygen level was in the 80s or lower, this would be considered a medical emergency. They would be put on the hospital and given oxygen to raise their oxygen level in order to prevent organ damage. You can get brain damage if your brain is deprived of oxygen for as little as 2 minutes. You may not end up as a vegetable after only 2 minutes, but you would still have some permeant brain damage.
Methenylene Blue may reverse the methemoglobemia if given in time, but it doesn't reverse any damage that has already been done to your organs. It's possible that the people on here who had failed attempt were lucky and were taken to the hospital and treated right away, before their oxygen level dropped to a dangerous level and caused organ damage. Everyone wouldn't be that lucky.
There really isn't a lot of medical literature available at this point on what the long term health effects are for someone who eats a large dose of SN and survives. We know that eating a lot of nitrites is unhealthy. People who eat a lot of processed meat during their lifetime have a 20 percent higher chance of stomach cancer than people who avoid eating a lot of processed meat. Probably someone who eats 20g of SN at once is practically guaranteeing that they will get cancer at some future date. Other than that, no one knows what the long term health effects are of eating a large dose of SN. There are only very limited case studies on this for obvious reasons. No one can say for certain what health problems or damage someone will have down the road in 10 or 15 years.

This is true, but there's not much research on how quickly methemoglobinemia affects the brain. The studies I reviewed don't mention brain damage, except to say that timely treatment with methylene blue is imperative in preventing brain damage. In the available studies of people who have recovered from acute methemoglobinemia, there are no reports of brain damage, likely because brain death would occur about 10 minutes after the brain being derived of oxygen.
All this to say that while SN can potentially cause brain damage, it is far more likely to kill you than leave you with any permanent damage. Methylene blue does an exceptional job of restoring oxygen levels to normal. I would never say there's not a chance of something happening, but significant permanent damage is extremely unlikely, as has been documented in the research.
As for long-term effects, of course we don't have any longitudinal studies on SN to date. We'll need to wait to learn more about those.
