Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

It's difficult. They didn't cause me to do this. In fact, my boys are the reason I haven't ctb yet. I don't want to abandon them and without an explanation. I feel guilty and don't think there is any way around it.

That certainly sounds like a difficult situation to be in. I can imagine that it must be hard wanting to leave this world but at the same time you do not want to leave your pets. Pets can be one of the only good things about this life. I am sorry for all the suffering that has brought you to this point. I wish you the best in whatever happens.

Please check out Pet Guardian program in your area. Essentially, this are organization that will take your pets, make sure they're taken care of until they find a home. They'll take note of your pets needs, such as medication, behavior, etc. and screen the adopter on your behalf when you're gone.
You can set this up with the organization beforehand. They do require money to be set aside for your pets as part of your will.
EDIT: if you need a will, use Freewill and follow their questionnaire. Make sure it's signed by 2 witnesses. Add your local Pet Guardian org as the org that will take your pet.

I am staying alive for just a few more years until my aging cat is gone. He's the absolute best cat in the world and has been with me since kittenhood, and I will suffer a little longer to be with him to the end. Unfortunately it's going to be a rough few years because he needs constant medical care now, so I don't get to have any real vacations or anything other commitments that might make life more enjoyable in the meantime. I would have ctb already if not for him. I know I obviously won't care after death, but I am alive despite everything, and the guilt of being his person and leaving him in his final years when he needs me is stronger than my will to die (so far). Feelings are dumb. But after that, all bets are off.

Dependent animals are actually a great reason to stick around. My best furry friend of 15 years just passed away a few months ago. He brought me through some hard times and I gave him the very best I could. One of the reasons I'm on here is because I no longer have any other lifeforms dependent on me like he was. If you still have them to live for then I suggest trying to get some other resources for help and loving them the best you can while you are here. Animals don't understand like people do. Hugs*
