How can I say my goodbyes to friends I can't do it face to face and I don't want them to see a text and they call the police or something how should I do this?

How can I say my goodbyes to friends I can't do it face to face and I don't want them to see a text and they call the police or something how should I do this?

What exactly would you have done face-to-face that wouldn't arouse their suspicions, but would in a text? Do you mean a casual 'goodbye' at the end of a face-to-face meeting that would appear innapropriate or suspicious in a text out of the blue? If so, just make the text more about a final positive interaction, telling them you are thinking of them, sharing something that would interest them etc, rather than a spelled out goodbye.

Maybe don't say "goodbye" but just remind them what they mean to you and that you're thankful for having them in your life. Just a nice message, nothing sinister.

Perhaps something like how being in quarantine has made you appreciate their friendship more than ever and you just wanted to let them know some things that you really love about them and thank them for their friendship. Not an overt goodbye, but a discrete way of letting them know what they mean to you.
