Hello again,
I made this thread cause I have a couple of questions that I would like clairified cause my english also aint the best.

I decided on full hanging. My rope is a 12 mm Polypropylen-Multifil rope that can hold my weight. (I tested it). I decided to use a kind of gym equipment (a sturdy pull up bar that holds).
But i still have some questions:

1. Cause the bar is qutie smooth i am afraid (and almost qutie sure) that the rope will move if I swing on the other end. So should i just double wrap it around or put a cloth under it?

2. My main question is cause i use the arbor not it does pull tight but always pulls to one side and it effectivly gives ropeburn, cause the rope doesnt move around my neck. I do want both my carteroids to be pressured at about the same time so i would like some advice please. (or just telling me if i did something wrong cause i positioned the knot right at the centre of my neck)

Thank you

When the loop tightens, some rope runs through the eyelet or the knot that forms the eyelet. Because the rope hardly moves relative to the neck due to friction, the knot has to move slightly to the side. This is unavoidable and causes a bit of rope burn on one side of the neck. This shouldn't bother you.

Thank you. That got me off some of my nerves. But at the end the rope will be at the top of my neck right under my jaw anymway, cause my full weight will rest on it and the carterooids will be closed.
