Rather unsubstanciated claim that verges on pro-lifer gibberish. The vast majority of desciptions from successful and unsuccessful people who opted for this method never mention anything close to the feeling of one's "insides burning". As said before, no one can be sure that it is impossible to experience such thing, but based on the evidence we have here, it is even harder to be sure that this is what would happen.

You people kill me when you drop lines like that and get salty ( pun intended) when someone expresses and opposing opinion. I've read survival stories and all expressed experiencing excruciating pain. Did anyone say a burning sensation, no. But excruciating pain can encompass plenty of sensations. On the flip side, for those who have succeeded, the is no way to assess what they experienced because they are dead. My dead rabbit looked peaceful as heck when she kicked the bucket but I have no idea if she wriggled for hours in pain before she died. How dare you call me a prolifer for expressing my opinion. No where in my comment did I tell this person not to do it. I just expressed my opinion based on common sense, when you injest salt, it burns.
I know this site is for those so hopeless they want a way out, I'm one of them. But I'm not a fool. I will never accept being told what a dead person experienced without that person being revived and stating their experience. I've seen, held and tasted sn and one pebble was awful. Sorry to burst anyone's fantasy but that's my experience and I'm still, unfortunately, alive. My opinion comes from that plus imagining having several of those dissolved pebbles in my belly as I'm dying. I'm not disputing that the stuff with other medicinal aide that prevents one from puking it up does kill. I, personally, haven't been convinced that it is painless. That's just my sentiment. I see you all of you as brothers and sisters who want to leave this world. I am not mean spirited or a surely human and never intend to come across as such. I just take umbrage with people accusing me of being a prolifer when I express my opinion. I think it's uncool. There have been several methods I thought I wanted until someone came along and showed me facts or expressed an opinion that got me to seek another method. I didn't get angry or call them anything. I just moved on.
according to the several threads about successful attempts when they used the sn method, they didn't really feel any severe pain — just uncomfortable, but who really knows, right? however, do remember that no method is easy or completely peaceful. i hope you find something that works for you. best wishes.
I'm choosing SN, because unlike other methods, you don't suffer long term injuries if you fail. Obviously, hanging is more peaceful, but more risky
