Remember all those 2020 SN goodbye threads?

I mean I lurked before this account but wow, it was like every week there was one. Obviously there was Letze - what a gent. But also the dude who was sentenced to prison for a nothing crime. I can't remember his name, unfortunately. And obviously so many more, like the dude who ctb on the same SN I have (back when you could buy it on Etsy). Endless goodbye threads that year. Brutal.

I remember those too. I thought for sure one of those goodbye threads was going to end up being mine towards the end of 2020 and the start of 2021. Not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing, but I'm still here.

The SN I have should still be good for another year and a half (I hope), but I'll probably have to use it before it gets too old and loses its potency.

To me it is understandable as to why so many people decide to ctb. After all we live in a world where there is so much suffering. SN does sound preferable to many methods like hanging and drowning so it does make sense as to why people choose to use it. I do envy people who die that way, they are free from this cruel existence and they never have to endure another day. I have read about people who have died of SN, but I find it hard to remember specific cases.
