Hi i want to ask if anyone has advice on where to hang a rope (ideas that don't involve going outside home) im not sure if this was already answered before, i couldn't find anything, if anyone has a link of a thread that already talked about this topic i would be grateful, sorry if bad english btw its not my main language:(
I have a closet with doors only, i don't have that one from the picture but i could get one, does the height from it should to be taller than my height? I've even seen cases of people hanging with things shorter than them (for example a door handle) but I don't understand how that works

It doesn't need to be higher than your height, because occluding the carotid artery doesn't require your full body weight. You can try wrapping a rope around your neck and pulling it tight. I'm used to having it right above my Adam's apple; it only takes about 5kg of force to occlude the carotid artery. At first, you won't feel much, but after about 3 to 5 seconds, you will start to experience vision blackouts; this is the precursor to fainting.
So, one can die while sitting, kneeling, lying down, or in a prone position.
I'd find something sturdier. One of my previous attempts failed as I failed to realize that after unconsciousness, the body will writhe and convulse. using an object that cannot support 2x your body weight will mean that the convulsions will dislodge your body, leading to a failed attempt and potential injuries from the fall or permantent brain damage.
