I have a good amount of amitriptyline but how much would end it and should I not eat and drink to make it quicker.
This has probably been documented many times before but I have not got the energy to look for the answer

There is a chapter on this in the PPeH (peaceful pill e handbook) iirc.
You can find the latest copy of a pirated version in the suicide forum pinned and marked as resource.

It could be something like 10g but don't quote me on that.

Edit: yes, it's 8-10g and should be taken together with Meto (to prevent vomiting) and benzoes (to fall asleep). There is a whole section on the process, what it does, how it works and what is required.
Download the book and read the whole chapter multiple times before you take anything.

If you don't have the energy today, read it tomorrow. Don't make a half assed attempt, it will only send you to the ER or make you violently ill. Unless of course that's what you want.

Oh man, I remember attempting with this about a decade ago. I think you'll find a source for Minimum Lethal Dose on Lost All Hope. Might need a VPN to get there. Wouldn't recommend it though, I think you need a few grams of the stuff and it causes some pretty gnarly bodily effects.

Pretty much any medication is a crapshoot in terms of lethality. The vast majority of people who attempt by medication overdose survive. There's just a high risk your body vomits up the drug before it can kill you, and lots of ways to save you if you are discovered.
