Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I'm a 19 year old college student, I go to school in upstate NY and I'm an NY resident so from what I've read it seems pretty easy to just walk into a store, fill out the paperwork, wait for the background check, and buy a shotgun. I'm just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on how well this would go, maybe some ideas for what I could say if they ask why I want a gun. Also yes I know I can't take the gun to campus so I'd probably just CTB soon after I acquire The gun and ammo

I'm also 19, look really young for my age and am a woman. Have no experience in purchasing guns whatsoever. So I too was intimidated by the entire process. So I just ordered my shotgun off of a legitimate website. Had it shipped to my local gun shop. They called me when it arrived. I filled out a form, background check took about a week to approve since I'm younger than 21.. but it still approved nonetheless. ( surprising since I was in a ward 2 months prior :/) They never asked me any questions about why I purchased my gun because I didn't purchase it from them. I only had it shipped to them. But If they do ask just say for home security. Don't feel like you need to be the most knowledgeable person ever. You could say one of your parents are going to help you put it together if they ask you dumb trivia questions about the gun or something you don't know. Regardless it's none of their business at the end of the day. I wish you success and feel free to let me know if you have any questions or anything!
