• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Honestly, It's baffling to me how so many people scream out against suicide discussion, how everyone acts like a pillar of morality and justice, how when some poor sod bastard finally pulls the plug, everyone cries crocodile tears infront of a camera or on some post.

This isnt a "you weren't there for me" post, its a discussion about how alot aggravants or straight up reasons people CTB stem from being sorrounded by cunts in a society that rewards a bunch of theatre play rather than actually being a decent person.

How often have you noticed that people (often the "normal" and "socially fitting" and neurotypical) get a rush of ego from crushing others, or from crocodile tears so they can convince the other fake bastards that they are good and perfect and absolutely didn't pop champagne to another subhuman losing his life?

Half vent half discussion primer.

While I get the virtue signalling is annoying as hell and doesn't really serve anyone aside from themselves, I think they simply can't properly emphasise into something they fundamentally don't understand. It's just such a huge emotional gap between a normie and someone with SI, they could be as well 2 different species.
I don't think there is any ill intent with the average person either, it's just emotional detachment from an act that they don't understand and which is deeply disturbing to them. Same as you can't understand their view on life, they can't see yours on death. Some toxic people might actually pop their metaphorical champagne, but I don't think that applies to a majority who simply sees it as a tragedy. As someone who has been on both sides of the coin at this point that's at least always been my understanding of it before I was suicidal myself whatsoever and although I didn't understand half of it as I do now I never looked down on anyone doing it. It was simply a sad, unbelievable and incomprehensible thing for me to witness that someone might be as desperate in life that they would have to go to such lengths to prematurely end their life.
I agree it's annoying to deal with this discrepancy in perception at times but I am not sure what do about it.
