• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

...Which I then want for my family members to fling at the people that I disliked in life. :heh:

(I was just Googling info on cremation and stumbled upon this & that was literally my first thought. I'm terrible.)

Not bad o.o, it even has a price similar to cremation.

A tomahawk or probe wouldn't be bad either xD

When I turned 65, must be a magical number I guess!?!,for people to give bad suggestions! I had a person ask me if I had thought about having my remains pressed into a stone to be put in a piece of jewelry and I was some what shocked by the question.

But, hey! not a bad idea, like @Wrennie said about thrown hers, I thought that someone could give my pressed remains to some one who in life was a complete jerk to me and have them choke on it.

Stay well,
Walter

I've never actually heard of this before. I actually quite like the idea of what you said you want your family members to do. There are plenty of people that I dislike. I think I will probably just get my ashes scattered though.

No! Just no!

Having my remains, even in a cremated form, accessible to the living, especially as a wearable object like that stone, strikes me as creepy and macabre. If someone who cares about me has access to them, they'll be a painful reminder to that person. If someone who despises me has access to them, that person can desecrate my remains with impunity.

I'm old school. I want to be either buried 6 feet (2 meters) underground in a casket inside a concrete vault---the cemetery where my relatives are buried has such vaults--or cremated and have my ashes scattered into the wind over a body of water. This way, nobody can damage my body in death the way they damaged my soul in life.
