• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

After having a crisis many people are on the track again. Like my sister after her second psychosis she just worked again after some weeks wtf. I was 2 years extremely depressed after my second psychosis and got fired twice. Some people deal with the past and the present way better. They just accept things and can let it go somehow. I think here suicidal thoughts are a disadvantage. If I could accept some parts of my life as given and not always think about suicide I might be happier. However I think there is one advantage I have. When life becomes again an extremely hell (and I am sure this time will come) I will have an exit. Sometimes the pain is simply way too strong. Especially when your problems are not temporary rather permanent (like mine).
I am often very sad about my past and which opportunities in my life are now impossible.
I sometimes admire the people with what a strength they can fight in order to live. Me myself I am still fighting too. But sometimes the war is just lost and there is no real sense to fight on. On the other hand I think it might be better to give up. But this time has not come yet.

They just find better ways to cope with things. Some people have more in the tank to go on living than I do. I have a finite limit before I'm drained completely, which sadly I've been completely dry for 4 years now. I still keep on finding distractions in life to keep me going, but they are temporary. When the pain is too strong, I just go to sleep.

People's inner strength varies, and I would assume they find things worth living for / continuing their life. Just like Seneca once said, "Sometimes even to live is an act of courage." But that doesn't negate the feelings of those who wish to leave their life because courage comes in many different forms.

I think for many people, when they have suffered a lot, they lose the ability to cope and completely lack the will to live. When we are in a negative situation, we naturally try to find solutions and for many people they see ctb as the only way to be free from pain. Many problems are simply unfixable. They are completely worn out.

As humans there is only so much we can have the ability to deal with, and we all have different limits on what that is. It is down to individual personality really. I have always had low capacity for suffering and I have had an inability to cope with what this life has given me. It is just the way I am.
