I really don't understand that. A few years ago, my dog had a huge tumor on her liver. The vet said there was a surgery, but the chance of success was low, and even a successful surgery would result in a poor quality of life for maybe six more months, so we put her to rest surrounded by family and with a belly full of cheeseburgers.

Now my grandmother had pneumonia and cancer, and the doctors are telling us to say our goodbyes because she's got maybe a couple more months. A couple months of sitting in a hospital bed and never getting up. She's going to be in pain the entire time. Why can't we just peacefully put her to rest? It's so fucking stupid.

People are gonna be loud, celebrating, partying around, firing off firework into the early morning, long story short they're gonna be really obnoxious and annoying and I'm probably not gonna find sleep for a long time. For what? The number 2021 turns into 2022. Give me a break. People are so irritating.

I share the same sentiment. Same shit, just a different day. NYE has always been one of my most hated holidays. The new year, new me schpiel gets old and tiring. People use it as an excuse to finally start making positive changes in their life, when they could've started on just about any other day

I remember when I was young, and would make all these resolutions...all these plans for improving my life...all this hope for the future. I was forced to attend a New Year's Eve dinner party for ass-kissing reasons (not the good kind) & one of the guests looked & acted disturbingly like the guy with the glasses.
