I just got a call earlier today saying that I finally got the promotion that I've been wanting for about 6 years now. I was on vacation time when they called I was certain that I was going to be depressed enough to end my life during this time, but after getting that news it seems like somehow my life might actually make a turnaround. There are still really crap parts of my life looming but for once I can say some glimmer of hope is there for me. Who knows where my life will go from here, maybe it will still end up all the same, but for now I suppose I will keep pushing on...

Thank you. It definitely feels like a stall lol but now instead of being surrounded by a darkness yelling at me to end my life, I guess you can say I'm in somewhat of a grey area, stuck between wondering if this is where everything turns around or if it's another one of life's cruel jokes. For now the best I can do is wait it out and see which of those are true.
