• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

your professor contacts you on the 28th, just 3 days before the deadline, to join a group made for "the outstanding" graduation projects to be presented at the annual exhibition.

The group was made on the 18th. Everyone who deserved to be there was contacted more than a week ago. You know, at least two students were to be selected from each section. It's not that you did a good job, you just happened to be in an under average section. You didn't come on top, everyone else was just at the bottom. And even then it took 10 days for you to be settled on, like okay, although I don't want to, if i HAD to pick, you'll have to do then.

So you'll have to go set up your poster next Monday, next to everyone else's, and then stand around at an exhibition, acting like you aren't fully aware it isn't your place, that you don't actually deserve to be there. And then they'll announce the winning projects, and next to them yours will stick out like a sore thumb, displaying the difference between the great and the average

Yeah, my rule of thumb is to never trust people's judgments. I'm not inherently great or bad at something, it's all subjective. But some people either overestimate you or underestimate you based on their own biased perceptions.

yeah, It says more about the circumstances than you. if everyone else fails and you hardly pass that makes you "the best", but doesn't make you any less of a failure yourself.

I'd be tempted to tell them to stick it but then, it's best not to burn bridges. But yeah, I hate all the pretence people put on at these kinds of things.

I take not pretending to be happy or interested as a form of disapproval haha
