Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Here's the story. In italy depression is taken like a huge f*cking joke and I am honestly exhausted. I've ordered SN and I thought seriously about ctb-ing, finally and my parents and my girlfriend will eventually get over it. I've tried screaming for help.
My n.1 psychiatrist doesn't answer. Suggested me Brintellix, had to write him almost 20 times to get a prescription and he still hasn't answered me. I told him I'm severely suicidal.
N.2 psychiatrist (located in Italy), is an absoloute soulless human. I told him I'd kill myself soon and I needed help and he answered "I'm on vacation"
Antisuicide psychologist centre answered "why do you wanna die and why haven't you reached a centre (as if psychiatric clinics in Italy aren't the worst)? I suppose they aren't on vacation?"
Fun fact: the woman who answered me and gave me the psychologist's number ,the one who actually created the association (who became a centre later) lost her son due to suicide in 2006.
People who decide to ctb in Italy just do the right thing because we're treated as a joke, and then everyone cries and says "they didn't ask for help!"

Society is revolted by the act of suicide; it seems to go against the basic survival instinct possessed by every living creature.

BUT, society doesn't do anything about the reasons that lead to people wanting to do it.
